Thumb biter - new here

I'm a 33 y/o mum with a stressful job and am going through a very stressful time right now. I've chewed the skin on my thumbs for as long as I can remember, I also pick at my cuticles, skin on my toes and feet (especially if I get a blister) and worry scabs and spots when I have them. I'm losing dexterity in my thumbs because of it and because of my job (I work in a lab) I often get small amounts of chemicals on the open skin which is so painful. My husband hates it and I wish I coud stop and have nice looking hands but right now they're a bloody mess! I'm glad I found this place, I only realised a shot while ago that ths was even a disorder
