Sebacious glands

I pulled these white stretchy things out of my skin that were under the scabs when I pulled them off. I had to use tweezers to get them out. When I looked at them closely I saw that they were pale amber roots witha shiny jelly-like appearance.. The healing skin has become dry, wrinkled and shiny and I am worried that I might have pulled out some sebacious glands. If so, will they grow back again, does anyone know?
