HALP. I peeled of the scab

Okay so a few weeks ago I had a small pimple and I was picking at it thinking I could pop it but I was wrong. It left a small open wound, red and oozing a clear liquid. So then I left it alone and a scab was forming which was good but then I thought it was ready so I picked it off!! So now I have a slightly bigger wound of raw red skin and I need it to heal as fast as possible. Should I let the scab form or no? If so, should I wait until the scab falls off by itself and not by me peeling it off?? Is there anything i can do to speed up the healing process?? Please HALP !!
