I'm a 23 year old female who just broke my pick-free streak after a whole week. I'm so mad at myself right now that I could cry. Why the hell can I not stop? My mom is the only one that knows about my picking, but I feel like she doesn't understand when I tell her that I can't control it once I start. I've been thinking, and I feel like being able to talk to others who have the same problem might help me better resist the temptation to ruin my skin even more :( Anyone?
DON'T be angry at yourself, those feelings are probably partly what leads you to pick anyway! I'm 21 , also female, have been doing ok not picking then picked a ton 2 days ago, had to leave the city and escape to my parents in the countryside I was so ashamed. But it's given me renewed motivation to stop. My parents and bro know re my picking. ANYWAY, good news, we have a KIK support group started from this site, there's like 12 of us who keep each other motivated and offer support. Do you have a smart phone, and an email address? Cos that's all you need! Then I can add you. :)

Hi Rose808. Could I be a part of this group as well. I am 22 years old. I am no longer speaking with my family, and have been homeless crashing on friends couches.. My stress has been at an all time high and my picking has gotten out of control. I am looking for an accountability partner or a group. Thanks

Hey yeah sure! If you download KIK and set up a username , just tell me your username on here and I will add you to the KIK buddy group. You are NOT alone! And it will help having us to talk to! I'm on day 6 no picking!
