Terrified, Anxious, Stressed beyond belieffffff.

I'm a scalp picker.. but I recently started tearing apart my arms, and digging into new territory because I'm absolutely terrified that I'm going to go bald and I figured scars are better than no hair... but then I realized instead of being distracted by picking my arms, I just pick both my arms and my scalp. It's just a never ending cycle. I'm stressed about losing my hair, I'm anxious about it to the point that I pick. And then when I pick, I feel guilty, which makes me anxious again, which leads to even more picking. I've tried thinking about something else when I start picking, in order to stop. But then I find myself picking subconsciously after I've stopped thinking about it. If anyone can help me find a way to just stop picking my scalp it would be greatly appreciated... =(

i think the best thing u can do is go out. having something to do is the best thing u can do for yourself.... and i mean go out AND all day long until u have to go to sleep then u wont pick

I keep myself busy most days, and refrain from picking during the day. It just all falls apart at night time. >.< Even if I'm reallly really tired, I still lay there and pick until I fall asleep. It's like a ritual.
